Was wondering if this is a good engine and is maintenance low or high for this 2004 Johnson/Suzuki.
I bought a 2003 70hp 4 stroke new in 2005 (leftover) and haven't done anything but basic maintenance since. It is on a salt boat, a 16' Maritime Skiff, and I could not be happier. They are heavy which is the only negative I can think of. The larger 4 strokes from the same time had exhaust manifold issues but I haven't had any problems at all. Good luck!
