Good googly!! Amazing something like that grew in the wild.

I wonder if it isn't an escapee from one of those deer farms if they have any in that area. Not that this guy didn't shoot it wild fair and square but maybe it didn't live its entire life in the wild.

Believe me, I know the difference. I probably see more big deer with horns/antlers that would make many deer hunters jealous on my daily walk. than most ever see. They are starting to chase here right now and I've been in danger of getting trampled the last 2 weeks. The next 2 weeks, I might walk at the gym because the rut will be in full force and scary.

Nice offer I drove around before dark last night and watched what might have been the biggest buck I've ever seen on the hoof. He was checking a scrape line on the edge of some timber at a picked corn field. The timber is public (state) land and the corn field is private. Bet he don't make it past this weekend.
