Wife and I did it years ago. Best money ever spent. Amazing results and no more contacts or glasses
2018 Phoenix 920 Pro XP
12 years and running, very happy with the results!
If you're older you will probably need glasses for near vision. I had my lenses replaced. At my age of 76, one would expect Presbyopia.
Other than that it was nice to get far vision for the first time in my life.
I did it a couple years ago. Wish I would have done it sooner!

Back in 2000...best decision ever.
Did it in 2014. My wife is having it done next Thursday.
For those of you who have had it, what did it cost you? Were looking at 3800 cash price out the door for my wife. Mine was around the same price 4 years ago. There are some that's 750 to 1000 an eye but I really like the place that's more expensive.

Just got it done in April last year, wish I could have done it sooner.
My wife had it done 2 years ago, and I had it done this past spring. She has problems with dryness, but her eyes have always had problems with dryness. I have had zero problems with our only regret being not having it done sooner.
I went last Thursday for my consultation. Lasik Vision Institute in Birmingham. My Prescription is -4.50 and they charge you according to the procedure and your prescription. I go in for Surgery on Saturday the 17th. I'm having the Lasik Contura procedure which eliminates the night time halo problem that most people have with basic Lasik surgery. I'm also doing the Monovision procedure which will give me both distance and reading vision, in other words you give up a little sharpness on distance vision to be able to read without having to have vision readers. I opted for the Lifetime repair policy and mine was 3,800.00 and that was after a 1,000.00 discount because i'm a Law Enforcement Officer. Maybe this info will help some with your decision.
Best money I have ever spent.
I had it done in the 90's. So cool to see the clock when I sat up ! I was legally blind they say.
Now 20yrs later I'm back in contact to get 20/20.
Readers are a must with contacts.
Without contacts 40/20 and I can read fine print.

Life is kinda hard but it's
better than the other options .. er ..option !
Had it done in 1999.....still 20/20 for me. I was 25 when I had it done....44 now and no issues.
Blue lives matter
7 years strong, best investment I ever made.
15 years ago, the best thing I have ever done for myself. It has affected my night vision when driving in the rain a bit. Still worth it!!
12 years ago. Best 4k Ive ever spent. From 20/400 to 20/15. And my vision is still almost as sharp today as it was right after the surgery.
