Has anyone tried patching a small section of rub rail track on a ranger boat? The new boat I bought has a small 6-inch piece broke on the nose, from pulling up on the trailer and hitting roller. I didn't know if I could patch maybe a 2 ft. section around the nose. Ofcourse, I would remove the rubber insert as one piece and reinstall it.
