    I would buy if I new the old depth jumping bugs were fixed and I could us med chirp. Disappointed no Panoptix type feature was added.

    Narrow is 180 to 240 kHz which is a fixed range. It has a spec coverage of 25 degrees.

    From the Humminbird website I see this for the newest transducer:

    This accessory is compatible with the following Humminbird products: HELIX 8 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N, HELIX 9 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N, HELIX 10 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N, HELIX 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N

    All I see is compatible with G3N. I do not see where it says anything about being compatible with G2N.

    I would think so. CHO models do not come with a transducer. That does not affect the unit’s capability.

    Those that get the Minnkota trolling motor with built-in MEGA DI transducer would be the primary market for those units.
