Mega down and mega side imaging! I like the new mounting option.

The new units have Dual Spectrum LowQ 2D sonar in the Sonar, SI, and DI models.

There is a new Helix 8 series.

The MEGA SI+ and MEGA DI+ transducers are larger than the G2N MEGA transducers.

The new transducers are on the 2019 price sheets and will be released soon.

Now we just need to wade through and figure out how much of this is unit hardware, how much is accessory hardware, and how much is software as in wil any of this be upgradeable to prior models?

Comparison of the MEGA SI and MEGA SI+ transducers:

Comparison of the three transom DI transducers. The smallest is the XNT 9 DI T, the middle one is the MEGA DI transducer, and largest one is the MEGA DI+:

Don't see any 83 khz specs for that transducer. Just the chirp for the high frequency like the current low q transducer.

The 2D element is the Dual Spectrum Low-Q like the MEGA DI units have. It is not a 83/200 kHz element. 140-240 kHz CHIRP range or single frequency within that range not CHIRPed.

I'll be the first to say that I like the angled cable exit/strain relief. Makes perfect sense!

Correct, but it seems there will not be a 83 khz option without an additional transducer

Additional note: if you want a SI G3N unit and not the included transducer with Low-Q, it will support the current MEGA SI and HDSI so you can have 83/200 kHz.
Unit setting-- MEGA Imaging and High Definiton Side Imaging.
    Default is HW+MEGA SI

I suppose you could use the MEGA SI+ with a Y cable and 83/200 kHz transducer, choose the MEGA Imaging setting and have the advantage of the longer SI crystals along with 83/200 kHz 2D.

The unit compatibility is listed on the Humminbird website's transducer listing.
