Not really, someone won this certificate, and wants to have a quick sale!....if I were looking for a RT188, I would definately be contacting this guy!
Only suspicious thing is that they want you to "email" for info. I never reply to craigslist ads via email. It's either call or text for me.

No,....it's a certificate that is good for a new boat/trailer/115 motor, with standard equipment, that the seller " is asking" $18,000 for it.
The package could be & is worth more of course, but you're getting it for whatever you buy the certificate for.

I'm betting it is a scam. (E-mail only is a red flag.)

Not neessarily..especially on Criagslist. I wouldn't put my phone number on there either for it to be picked up for every telemarketer to put it on their calling list. The add doesn't say email only, just to email for more info. He provides his number once they email.

100% of craiglist scams are through emailing, not calling or texting,....100%! Any scam for sale ALWAYS only leaves an email address, not a phone number.
When selling, I'll get scammers text me, and request me to answer via "email"

I buy and sell stuff all the time on craigslist. Some from our family antique shop and other just dealing and wheeling that I do on the regular. I work nights and dont want people calling and texting me so I always put "email Only" option. Been doing it that way for years. I feel a lot of people are similar as to why they do it as well.

Not always the case. I have a camper listed on craigslist and get an occasional scam text, never got scam a phone call though. Like the emails, they're easy to spot.

I've had them request that I reply by eMail but I haven't found that to be the case most of the time. I know a lot of people who almost never talk on their phone. A lot of younger people have grown up using a keyboard and won't hardly communicate any other way.
