Where to take trailer for brake repair?

    2012 Ranger trailer dual axle.

I am not capable of servicing or checking my brake system on my trailer.

Do you just take it to the shop that does car/truck tires and brakes?

    Thanks, Joe

+1 on trailer specialist...had a caliper/line replaced and they were knowledgeable on just what it needed/parts in stock

Trailer dealer would be best. Boat dealers want too much per labor hour on average, and they're not best setup to do trailer repairs if parts are needed.

You need a mechanic. Somebody that understands cars, trucks and trailers. Since the trailer doesn't have an OBD plug port that rules a lot of "mechanics" out.
