    Deleting waypoints on helix G2N

I typically mark a school of fish with a waypoint as I see them. After I fish that school sometimes I want to delete the waypoint. Why is it that sometimes it gives me a menu with a bunch of options like edit and delete and sometimes it gives me the go to or cursor to menu with no option to delete? Thanks.

That sometimes happens when you don't get the cursor right on top of the waypoint. Getting the cursor right over the waypoint can be quirky sometimes. Make sure the cursor locks on the waypoint and highlights

I am going to the waypoint menu in the main menu and selecting the actual waypoint number.

If you create the waypoint with one finder, you will not get the option to delete it from a different finder. Not sure if that is the case here.
I found that out this week after installing my bow helix. Was trying to delete a waypoint but no option available. Finally realized I had created the waypoint from the bow helix and was unable to delete it from the console helix.

A network displayed icon has a color "halo" around it, so that's probably not the case here I hope - but good suggestion!

Just realized there were some more replies to this thread. I will take pics this weekend when it happens. I am thinking it was because the waypoint was created up front and I was trying to delete at the console.
