Blazer 625 Pro Elite Top Speed?

I am currently in the market for a new boat. I have broken it down to a Blazer 625 Pro elite or Bass Cat Caracal or Eyra. My question to you guys is what kind of speeds are you seeing out of your 625 pro's with a Merc 250 Pro XS? How do they handle the big water. I haven't seen to any here in Texas so I haven't had the chance to see one let alone ride in one. I had been reading on the internet about the Blazer and have yet to see a bad review. I'm afraid the only way I will get to ride in one is if I buy it! Any input would be appreciated!

Most are running 78 to 80 with Pro xs V8. I think I read someone running 82-84 with Yamaha Sho. I don't fish big water like you have. But I came from a Ranger and the Blazer rides better.

I just got my 625 with new pro xs last week and i love it so far. I am still breaking it in but it’s going to be fast. I hadn’t rode in a caracal but i owned a cougar ftd and then a eyra and i wasn’t a big fan of eyra. The blazer has awesome storage and fishes very well.

Blake's in Corsicana said they had a 625 and a 595 on order along with some Blazer Bay's.

Only 625 I know of in Texas is around the lake Conroe area. This boat has a 250 verado and I know it’s bin 80. I would say it rides pretty good I drove it on Sam Rayburn on a pretty choppy day. If you want a bullet I can give you a ride you can even drive it

One of the posters on here from Waco has a 625 with a SHO and he is running about 78 to 80.

Mine 79mph on the limiter with 27 tempest plus. 625 with 250 merc 2s, PowerPoles, 4bats 1 person.. I just had the tempest plus b&b and haven’t really got to play with it yet. should break 80 since it’s cooled off and had prop b&b..

jj marine at fork has a 625 with 300 sitting on lot and it’s loaded with just about anything you can think of including lithium batteries..

I see these impressive top speeds in these boats but how bad are they to walk? I know it's a high performance boat so you have to drive it but is it really bad? TIA

mine is not that bad. its easier than you think. there are way more other boats out there that walk way worse than my Blazer.
