    Ky Lake Spot

Check out this fat, healthy spot I cranked up near Ky Dam Marina this weekend. It's the first Spot I've caught out of Ky Lake.

Had a stud 3lb+ spot during my club classic down there. Actually I weighed in a 3lb Spot a 4lb smallie and a 3lb LMn the same bag. Trifecta haha.

Just don’t see many spots any more, loved catching them years ago. Had one that was 4:15 on a buzz bait near Ken Lake several years ago, fun days!!

Love to see that. I used to target them at times around the east side of Kenlake. They used to be common. Have caught many in the 4-5 # class.

We caught some throughout our club season this year but mostly on the Cumberland River. I hope this is a sign of a resurgence. I'd love to see them make a come back. I've heard stories from some of the guys that have been fishing in our club for several years, about catching them with some regularity. It would be awesome to hook some up more often.

I’ve caught several decent ones here before. Surprised how many on Guntersville. A ton there and many in the 3-4 pound range.
