2004 Tr 21x with new 250 pro xs FS

Got my new motor in Friday and did some break in this weekend, all I can say, is this motor is awesome! I have about 3 hours on it now. Holeshot is not even comparable to my old 250xs racing engine, my old 250 two stroke would struggle out of the hole with a 26 fury 3 blade and would run 76-77 with two people loaded. I was by alone 215lbs, during break in with 1/2 tank of fuel and no tackle. I have 4 31 series batteries. i am turning a 24 fury 3 blade prop. I did a short 1/2 mile burst at the end of my trip yesterday and saw 79.1 and it was still rising when i backed out of it. I am not a speed freak by no means but this motor has some serious get up and go. I would never go back to two stroke again.

Your old motor must have been tired 250HP is 250HP doesn't matter if it's two stroke, or four stroke, the top speed should be the same, because the gear ratio is the same also.

They might be the same Savage, and my old motor might have been tired with 300 hours? i guess maybe. there is no comparing the two motors, I have driven that boat for 5 years and the difference is night and day. I went from a cadillac to a corvette with this new motor.
