    Sportsman II died today

    I could not get my power pole to lower today so I could back my boat into the garage. I checked the voltage and it is getting voltage to the unit. Normally it sings a song when it powers up, but not anymore. Either the board is bad or the motor is shot. Mine is the older style C-Monster unit. Can I get parts (new board or motor)?

    Purchased from Hydrilla gear, but don't think it is still under warranty.


    I'm almost afraid to ask what a new motor and or circuit board is gonna cost me.... Anyone??? Can I upgrade?

    I was just shipped a new pump and board for the newer CM2 power poles and the invoice was around $430. Not sure if the older CM1 would be much price difference.

    Thanks. I called PP this morning and they are shipping me a replacement board. Covered under warranty.

    99.9% of the time its NOT the motor. Not to say it cannot happen however I have never seen a CM motor fail...
