Really wish you wouldn’t have posted this!
I’ve been destroying crappies under the ice and in the spring with a wacky rigged Berkley trout worm on a small jig head for years. It outfished live minnows all the times I tried it before I quit buying them for panfish.
Those little stick baits look slick!!

First time I tried Dropshotting, I caught a Lake Trout (Lk. Chelan) on a wacky-rigged 3" Senko. I was just pumping it up and letting it drop to the bottom. The Laker was about 24" or so; just a pup.
I've rigged crappie baits wacky on jig heads and tossed them over brush piles. It worked but but as well as the conventional presentation. My thought was to slow the fall to trigger bites.
