    DMS - light blinking

Anyone know why my CTSY Lights button on DMS and bow is blinking? The DMS power is off and the CTSY lights are not on in the boat.

    Thanks!

Probably a bad brain box. But sometimes a faulty component will also kick those lights.

Try checking main fuse and battery connections for corrosion. Good luck.

Try holding the button IN for 30 seconds to reboot.

A brain box is an electronic module that controls all your power functions to your dash panel. It is screwed to the bottom of the starboard rear quarterpanel. As mentioned above, whenever you have a blinking light, press and hold the function button for a short time (maybe 10-15 sec), which will reset the breaker for that function. If it continues to blink, then that function is not working properly in the brain box OR you have a wiring issue for that function. Obviously, the brain box is powered by your starting battery. There should be a fuse in the power wire from the battery, but if that fuse blows, then none of your functions work. Do a search on this forum about the brain box, but numerous people have reported problems in getting a replacement.
