    Closing up the cover

I have not yet been blessed with a garage or carport to park my boat under. The Dowco cover is working good, except for the cut out around the engine cables and fuel line. I have to remove fallen leaves, and debris on a regular basis or the transom drain will become clogged. Has anyone came up with a way to close up the gap to keep leaves and debris out? Was thinking about a flexible plastic sled or something like that. Post up any thoughts and or pics.

That opening is pretty large. I think they do that to clear any possible rigging options. Ours is under a carport so it doesnt get rained on but we just clipped a large black towel to the cover and drape it over to keep the neighbors cats out. If you have a shop that does custom covers yoy could have them add a piece that fits the rigging a little better and stitch it on for more perminant fix if its outside.
