“The Match” is a great historical story told in a mesmerizing fashion. The life stories of the players was weaved into a frantastic round of golf that actually happened. Captivating.

"A Good Walk Spoiled" is amazing. You will read it in two days.
Confessions of a Golf Pro by Andrew Wood. Funny book

The Little Red Book
finished it yesterday. Pretty good, but if you didn't follow pro golf in 1993 and 1994 some of the lesser known golfers will probably make reading it tedious. But over all the behind scenes stories of Q school, missed puts resulting in missing cuts, having to re-qualify through Q school, and near misses make it a good read. Also some good John Daly stories. Tiger Woods was just 18 years old at the time, and was mentioned just a couple of times as an up and coming amateur. I would like to read a sequel based on the last 10 years.
The Littel Red Book > Harvey Penick. Lessons and teaching from a lifetime in golf...You can buy this book for less than $4 shipped on Ebay.
Frank Beard On the Golf Tour. It was published in a diary format chronicling a year on the tour. A good read about how things were back before all the big money and ease of traveling. Many may not be familar with Beard, but he was an extremely good player.
He did a follow up years later on the Senior tour titled "Making the Turn".
Brandel Chamblee - The Anatomy of Greatness: Lessons from the Best Golf Swings in History
All sound good and I have a few of them but now have some others to buy.
yhanks to you all.
”The Match” includes Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson and a young Ken Venturi and a mystery man all at the Bing Crosby Clam Bake.
I just finished "The Majors" by Feinstein. I enjoyed it. Better than "A Good Walk Spoiled" IMHO. It is about inside stories at the four majors in 1998.
