Good to see bigger names getting in. Would like to see the 80ah ones come way down.
Not sure what they are selling for but retail is 1970.85 for three of them, verse the 2199.00. That 228.15 different
That 44.4 Lbs and still has the foot print of three AGM batteries. The Lithium Pro is 30.3 Lbs, thats 13.1 Lbs don't sound like much yet another 25% weight savings.
Lighter and only one battery leaving room for Power pole pumps and other things like spare props or access to the pumps below the batteries. When you have a pump go out and can easily reach in and replace verse removing the batteries just to get to them.
I know there are those that want go for either waiting for the price to get to 150.00, and their waiting for the iphone original to get to 50.00 before they go to a smart phone also.
If you are wanting the best bang for the buck, a smaller, lighter package even with two 36 volts trolling you have tons of room left in the bilge area for other stuff and lighter when you compare Ah ratings.
I don't care what or where you buy just pointing out why I went with my package.
Now I have tidied it up some but this was by bilge area with a 36 volt system, twin power poles, a AC/DC stealth charger, and as you can see I can access all 5 pumps to swap or change them out. Not doable with any other 36 volts systems. Or not that I have seen, if you can throw up some picks to show the set up.
This set up is a total of 90 Lbs for all 3 batteries and 80Ah for the trolling and 110 Ah for the cranking.

Now since I have a jersey I use a pro set up with dual batteries, I have used a single battery setup a few years without any issues, yet I fish short 3-5 hour night tournaments, So I am using black lights and 3 12" graphs nite camera etc.

So, how does one 40ah 36v battery stack up against three 50ah 12v battery?
I just bought 2 Relion 50ah 12 volt batteries and wired them in series for my 80# 24 volt trolling motor. I replace the two 31 series AGM's with the two 50ah lithiums. They are basically the same footprint as one 31 series AGM. The AGM's weighed 70#'s each. I took out 140# and put 30# back in. I lost 110#'s. I went fishing a few weeks ago put in a safe light and fished until 4 PM. Thats basically 9 hours of fishing. I wasnt fishing any adverse conditions I had a light breeze and minimal current. It was a typical day of fishing and the batteries lasted all day and never died. Looking at Relion's charge chart I would estimate I still had 10-15% of battery life left. If someone thinks they are not enough and I think a day with wind or heavy current they probably wont make the whole day you can add a Stealth charger. If you still dont think that would be enough then, go with the 75ah batteries. I am postive the 75ah batteries would more than enough for any serious angler in 24volt system. In a 36 volt system because you move to a higher voltage the ah draw is less. I think 50ah batteries would be way more than you will ever need. They are very affordable I am not going to list the prices here but, If you PM anyof the guys that sell them I think you will be very surprised. Not speaking of Lithium Pro's those things are still ridiculously high in price. I priced Battle Borns and Relions. Those 2 are available in affordable prices.

Why don’t they make more cranking batteries, has to be a reason why Merc doesn’t recommend using them?
Charlie Messina from Relion recommended I don't use a Relion Battery to crank my old 2000 Merc 125. Told me 'cranking -times' were too long for Relion's Electronics and the battery would be harmed. This was 3 years ago when I bought my pair of 100 AH Relions for my 24 Volt Fortrex.

There are lot of good brands on the market now which is great for the industry and will defiantly help bring down prices as production goes up.

Sweet set up^^^^^^^
I ran 2 Battle Borns all year. 2 100Ah 12V. Fished 14 hours one day, never a hiccup. Uses my previous MK 330D charger just fine, so no custom charger needed. They are selling for $949 right now and come with a 10 year warranty. I don't think I'll ever go back to AGM/Lead batteries for trolling motors again.
