    Yep!
I just spoke to DFI He said it should be the injector but could be the EMM he needs both the injector and the EMM anyway because if it is the injector and he repairs it he has to reprogram the computerbecause the charicteristics of the injector will change when repaired,so here goes another 1000.Thanks for your help Champ

    Will post the outcome.

See what he says about the EMM once he tests it.

Inspect the wiring harness to the injectors look for pinched or broken wiring. Check continuity using the multimeter set to ohms.

Yes was thinking of the wiring.
    Question:Why set meter to ohms?

I am going over in my mind how this started.I started to winterize had engine warming up to get treated fuel up into engine was running fine then stalled when I restarted it is when it started running rough found the cylinder not firing checked for spark with a tester, had spark but did not check the plug itself possibility plug is bad will check this also.

Setting the meter to ohms allows you to check the continuity open/shorts in the wiring. In this case you are checking for open circuits. Yes of course it could very well be as simple as a bad plug. Glad you reviewed your thoughts.

OK I received the injector and the emm back from DFI went down this morning and installed everything.still #2 cylinder not firing, injector is firing I have spark but no fuel going into cylinder.I took fuel lines off injector and turned engine over fuel is coming out of fuel line with pressure.I removed plug and it is bone dry.I cant figure it out! I am trying to get DFI on the phone and see what he says.If you guys think of anything else I should check let me know thanks again.

    UPDATE!

I went down to the boat again and swapped the #2 injector with the #4 injector and put #2 into #4 cylinder problem followed the injector no fire.I then put the #4 back where it belonged and took the #2 injector from my other engine and put it in the problem engine.I started the engine and WA LA engine running great on all cylinders.I called DFI and he has not seen this happen before that the injector works when tested but dont when it is in the engine. He wants me to send it back to him to test again if he dont find anything while testing he is just going to build a new injector.
