    #1 cylinder not firing

My 2000 200hp Ficht running real rough stalls unless I raise the idle a little, put the computer on it and no codes did cylinder drop test and #1 cylinder not firing.I did not have a spark tester with me so dont know if plug has spark I will test that when I go back figuring a bad coil,I do have a new one if it is.What else could it be besides coil.Diagnostics says injectors are firing.
    Thanks for any help

Yes try the plug wire first then the coil.

Do a compression test. My bet is no compression on that cylinder.

That is in the back of my mind hoping for a break,if that is the case I probably not repower and just give it up.I cant see spending the kind of money they want for these engines.

Plenty of places to find nice used outboards for good prices. A lot of dealers do re-powers and sell the trade ins after inspecting them and servicing them. Private owners sell them as well just have to be careful.

I wouldn't get too worked up until you see what is going on. If you get bad news you can always get the PH rebuilt that is a cheaper option.

What do you think about them and do you think I would be able to put all my original parts back on.

OK got back to the boat today first off the cylinder I am having a problem with is #2 not #1 dont know why I wrote #1 anyway compression is good on all 6 cylinders 115 on #2 and all the rest are within 5 or 6psi of that. The #2 plug is firing so I rechecked the injectors and #2 is not working all the others click when I test them #2 does nothing what can I do to figure out why it is not working.DFI does service on the ficht injectors but I want to make sure the problem is the injector. Thanks for any help.

That's probably a big load off of your mind. Swap an injector in place of #2 and see if clicks don't have to worry about coeffiecients for testing.

I pluged the power wire from injector #4 which is firing into injector #2 and no fire when I test #4 injector while it is plugged into #2 so I guess it is the injector what do you think?
