    Quick hack for bending bladed jig blades

    Figured this out a few years back when I needed to bend a blade on one of mine. Worked perfectly.

    Pictures are pretty self explanatory. Not sure what else I can add. You use the curved portion of your trailer hitch as shown in pictures.

    He probably doesn’t have that style hitch so he didn’t recognize what it was.

    Thats a pretty expensive blade bender, or you are just trying to get all you can out of it?

    Many thanks for posting this. I had purchased a few 1/2 oz baits and they always popped right to the surface unless I just crawled them back to the boat. Bending the blade at the head did very little to help, but this post got me thinking to bend the blade about half way up the blade. That did the trick....they stay down now at reasonable speed.....Thanks!
