    Owner Cover Shot Hooks ...

    if you have any experience with these hooks please do tell the pro’s and the cons if any.

    I've not used that one, but it just looks to be Owner's version of a light wire, straight shank with a bait keeper a la the Roboworm ReBarb (Gamakatsu). I'm sure it would work fine for its intended purpose!

    If it's anything like the Roboworm ones, it's not something you want to pull too hard on. Light wire made for finesse applications, but you do get the ease of penetration that comes along with it. They work excellent for Texas rigging baits on a drop shot.

    I am very familiar with this hook. in my opinion stronger than the roboworm hook and extremely sharp. it is one of my favorite hooks. I use it with both light and medium thickness baits. This is my go to hook when the cover is light. Hook up percentage is very high.

    I use this as well as the Roboworm hook when drop shotting bigger baits. I agree with above think it’s a little stronger, though I like the bait keeper on the Roboworm better.
