    Cross over Bass boat recommendation

Long time salmon/steelhead fisherman in the northwest. Fish are getting far and few between these days and more people are after them. Fished bass when I was younger, getting back in the game. Looking for recommendations for a cross over boat. Something I can fish bass by my but still be able to take to the river and troll for salmon on accession. Maybe take to the lake with the wife for a day in the sun. Is there such a boat? Thanks.

I'd look at walley boats, and multispecies boats.

I have checked out all suggestions, Thank you much. It looks like it will be hard to find a boat that will meet all my needs. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Deep v walleye style boat with a windshield. I mostly bass fish out of a superhawk, but does well trolling and cruising with the family. Great for northwest. Light aluminum is fine, unless you want to shoot up some of the smaller pnw rivers.

I have a Ranger 620vs and love it. Fishes as well as my Triton did. As I have gotten older it is a much nicer ride. I no longer have the need for speed.

Get a Ranger Intracoastal Dual console. Won't provide weather protection, but will handle the Puget Sound, Columbia, and stll great on the lakes. The aluminum trailer will keep the salt water from destroying your trailer. That is my next boat for western Washington.

BTW, the bass fishing is awesome in the Pacific Northwest (both largemouth and smallmouth).
