I have been running AGM on my last 2 boats and really pleased. It is certainly nice not having to worry about adding water, venting or spillage. In my case, my boat is stored at my lake house. I simply plug the charger in and forget it until next time. I do not have any experience with the Sam's Duracell, but have heard good things about them.
AGMs are lead-acid batteries.
I'd steer clear of the Duracell flooded cell batteries. They are Deka 31s and they are way undersized compared to other 31 flooded-cells.
The Duracell 31 AGM from Sam's is a decent cranking battery.

Opinions will vary. I have no trouble with the Dekas, in fact, I prefer them over the JCI battery (Interstate, Everstart, and others). The JCI seems to be a thirsty battery which means you have to check the water levels - and add water more often than the Dekas. As to type, I would run an AGM for the cranking and the flooded wet cells for the trollingmotor. This is due simply to the discharge cycle and the way the batteries deliver to the appliances.

If you decide to also go AGM for the troller, those Sam's Duracell/Deka are a great bang for the buck at 179 dollars. They have a nice hefty reserve of 210 minutes at 25 amps, which is quite a bit higher than the flooded version.

Check your engine specs,, that will determine correct cranker.. Your engine alternator may or may not be good for an AGM, they tend to like lower voltage than traditional flooded. Same with whatever you are charging your trolling batteries. Make sure it is AGM compatible.
I dunno but I dont recall having to add water to my deep cycles.. If folks are doing that alot they need to look at charging voltage as its usually a sign of over charge
Thanks for all the replies....my on board charger is dual pro 4 bank from every thing been reading should be compatible with agm.....motor is 2015 Evinrude G2 and have been reading some things that it may not be compatible with agm anyone have any experience with the G2 and agms thanks

Someone else mentioned it. All AGM batteries are lead acid (unless something exotic is out there) but not all lead acid batteries are AGM.
To the original question. I went with a Duracell 31 AGM from Sams club for my starting battery and 29 series Everstarts (3 of them, 36 volt trolling motor) from Walmart for my trolling batteries. I have run these for 2 seasons and have been very happy.
I've been running 4 Duracell AGMs for the last 3 years & never had a problem with them.

Isn’t the Duracell battery a deep crank??? Does it matter for using it as a starter battery???
There are a few good AGM batteries and I've had good luck with them as my engine starting battery but they are very expensive. If you have a Costco with a tire center near your home, they cell Interstate marine (acid cell) batteries for less than $100 each. Interstate continues to have a good product. Also, Costco always honors the battery warranty for full replacement if you bought it from them. My Interstates consistently last 3 to 4 years and my AGM's have lasted 4 to 5 years.

Thanks for the info. The AGM batteries are 179 and do indeed have better specifications than the wet cell batteries. I need new batteries this year and now that you mentioned that I might be heading for the AGMs. The flooded 31 has been great and only cost $95 each so I am trying to figure out if I ever had an issue late in the day with the wet cell batteries.
I see that the AGM is 1000MCA so it would make a good starting battery as well
