    Water Pressure Gauge

Stays at 2.5. Can blow a puff of air into it from my compressor & it will go to 5. Gauge is broken into 2.5 increments, btw. I assume the gauge is no good. Any ideas. Will any gauge work or does it have to be Yamaha or SHO. I would think any gauge would work but nowadays I don't know anymore.
    Thanks

I would think any pressure type gauge would work. Probably find a used Yamaha one on eBay

Is the gauge connected by tubing to the engine or is it run off of a transducer. A lot of boat manufacturers use the "electric" transducer. Personally the transducer version is junk. Mine was off from day one but worked. I installed a manual psi gauge.

vacuum line to the engine & two terminals for the light ( blue & black). Seen some that have a socket for the light.

Any analog water pressure gauge will work. The mercury gauges are a good choice and come as a "kit" that includes new hose, fittings, etc.

That's correct Midnight Rider. My problem was trying to get one to match my Triton gauges. No such luck. Did come close with the Faria gauge, black face w/ SS bezel.
