    Panoptix Livescope install on Z520

How has people been doing this? Where are you guys mounting the box? That’s my main concern, I don’t think the cable will reach anywhere to mount it..

They do offer a 10 foot extension cable for the LiveScope Transducer. This cable is very large and will be difficult to run in your Ranger. I use Weld Mount fasteners to secure the LiveScope System under the bow panel. You can use their basic zip tie holders epoxied to the fiberglass then secure the Module with zip ties. Another and better option is the Stainless Steel studs they offer. Check it out weldmountsystems.com! Call me if you have any questions! Best of luck.

I have yet to install my livescope on my boat. One thing I noticed, the transducer cable, that connects to the black box, holy crap.... that is a huge plug. It will require me to drill a hole on the boat about the size of a quarter.

It is actually bigger than a quarter. But yes, very large hole.

I ended up cutting one of my rod holder sleeves off under the bow panel. I ran all my cables into the center compartment and mounted the black box on the floor all the way to the front of compartment.
