It is all about weight. If both boats weigh the same, both motors put out same HP and use same prop then the only difference would be the possible slightly more drag due to the second console. Not going to be much difference. I suspect the dual console to be slightly heavier and may or may not have more drag.

I thought the 21XRS is a little heavier boat than the older Xd boats including the XDCs's. From What I have read on here is that the XRS hulls are little slower than the xds.

I know for sure that a 21 SDC is only 30lbs heavier than a 21 XRS. The XRS is wider and little heavier than the XDC, not sure how much difference it is.
I would be surprised if two identical hulls weighed within 30 pounds of each other.
I asked Tom one time about the weight on my 2008 21xd hull and he said 1285. I thought I read or heard the 21 xrs was 100# heavier.

I would say a 21XRD is around 1375 lbs and a 21XRS is around 1475 lbs. The newer XRS and SDC are around 3 MPH slower than the 21XRD and 21XDC. The boats are weighed with a Rapidjack plate, seats, gauges, pumps and steering.
I was hoping you’d post, Paul. Kinda curious myself. I was round about thinking those were the weights. Thanks!
