    2018 150 por Xs issues

    Got a 150 pro Xs serial K#2B532260.
Power head replaced at 20 hours
    Then compressor hoses (leaking)
    Then compressor it self.
Now for the last 5 weeks on and off when I try to get on plane the motor starts to shake and stutter and dies.
I have to prime the bulb at least 10 to 15 times to slow startthe motor and still does not want to get on plane.
When I can get on plane the motor only runs about 4500 to 5000 max
This has happened about 4 to five times.
Just dropped again at the dealer.
    Thanks
    Joe

Forgot to mention that they also replaced the egnituon harness.
They thought it was part of the problem

What happened to the compressor? Self destruct? If so, Don will be along with some questions and advice.

The compressor cap was full of rust and the top O ring was unseated?

Nothing wrong with the piston, rings, or bearings?

    That I'm not sure.
I was told that there was rust and one seal was unseated.
    That was two weeks ago.
    Still same problem

If there was foreign material in the compressor, it could plug up an injector. That would likely NOT cause an intermittent problem.
But if it will start and run better if you keep pumping the bulb, then there may be something wrong with the tank/line/primer bulb, or fuel pump.

See what the dealer comes back with- they do have hands, eyes, ears, and hopefully some test equipment on the engine.

Checking ALL of the Basics is in order... and if the plugs haven't been replaced it's very likely that they should be (pending check of the basics).

Compressor failures often (usually) transport debris into the air side of the system- including the rails and Direct/Air Injectors.

    Morning Don.
Do you know if there is a recall on the fuel pumps for this motor?

See response in your PM. As of this moment, nothing has been published regarding fuel pumps on this engine model.

    Update.
It seems like the issue was a check valve on the fuel line between the gas tank and the motor.
Dealer change the fuel line and check valve
Took it for a quick run before I put it away for the winter.
Seems like the issue is finally solved
