    Boatmate trailer brake problem

I noticed rust dust on my rim, puller tire off and the brake pad was broken in pieces and rubbing and wearing the rotor . My question is I removed the broken brake pad pieces, can I pull the trailer or I must replace before pulling it. I need to move it to my storage which is a few miles from where it is located right now. Thanks

If it’s a spring trailer take the tires off that axle then move it. Repair and reinstall tires/rims. The caliper will be loose without the pads...

I would hate to take a chance and tear up something else even for a short distance.
If you have never changed the pads they are pretty easy to do with a c-clamp, screwdriver an allen head or socket.
If it's a tandem you could pull that wheel off for a short distance.
