    Best med rod blank?

I wanna build a 7'3" Med Fast spinning rod. I want lightweight and sensitive. Will most likely use recoil guides.

What at do you recommend to look at?

I was gonna make one with all Recoil guides and was told that braid will wear into them. I don't know if that is all true but I went ahead and used Micro-wave guides.

A buddy of mine said he read it somewhere and I was making a stiff spinning rod for pitching out of my kayak.

Rainshadow Eternity ETES72M. 1/4 - 5/8 oz weights, 8 - 14# test, fast action. Advertised weight of the blanks 1.6 oz.

Personally I'd do a KR concept guide train on it using Pac Bay Minima 4 M and F guides on it before I'd put Recoils on it, but to each their own.

The rainshadow blank listed above is fantastic. Point blank makes some nice blanks as well.
