I ran them to the existing reverse lights. I figured I’d blow a fuse but haven’t had any issues.

Good deal. What’s the m/n and wattage of the one you added?

Just finished my installation of the Optronics LED fender mounted lights, the Amazon LED 1250 lumen spot lights, and the Black Oak LED 40w Cree XM-L2
3100+ lumen floodlights. I mounted them on the bunk posts so that I could have the option to swivel them from side to side, if I choose to, for more light to the side and it also allowed the breather screws to be on the bottom as recommended in the installation instructions. I use my side mirrors for backing, so I prefer more lighting to the side. Thank you Carolinagreenhead for the tip on the Black Oak LED lights.

Go on there website and look. I’m not sure. They are the 4 inch pod lights in a diffused light pattern. The link is posted on the first page.

They come with a bracket that requires drilling one 5/16" hole.

Looks very bright and white Greenhead! I need some too, back truck windows tinted so dark. What made you choose Black Oak? What's the story? So many LED co's out there, just don't know who to pick? I want some high quality LED replacements for my headlamp bulbs, but the choices are mind boggling...

I know someone that’s sponsored by em and decided to check them out for myself. They have a good rating and their cheaper than Rigid or Bluewater.

I guess I don't understand the need for lights that bright, that are behind the boat trailer. Nothing behind the boat on the ramp and I really just need to see the sides.

Drop your trailer off the side of the ramp because it was too dark to see and you’ll figure it out.

Reading is fundamental I said I just need to see the sides of the ramp, which is what is illuminated by the LEDs under the trailer and do it perfectly. No need for 2000 lumen either, I assume you only launch at single ramps. How does everyone in the other lanes, like being blinded when you back down. Isn't that like leaving the truck lights on?

Did you decide to post on this thread just to stir stuff up. I don’t care about your opinion or what works for you.
