Possibly the side imaging on the right side is going bad. Do you have another unit to test it on?

You have two things going on.

On both sides of the centerline there is disturbed water echoes, just more concentrated on the right side. Typically that means your transducer is on the left side of the keel and more water is affected on the right side of the transducer.

PLUS you are going too fast for the height of the transducer above the hull bottom and getting more cavitation on the right side--black streaks across the bottom. Some on the left side.

This is too fast for the transducer height with the transducer centered on the transom:

This is a transducer on the right side of the keel with the disturbed water within the left side SI coverage.

This is a brighter example of the disturbed water coming off the hull being recorded:

The transducer is too high on the pontoon bracket and that is what is causing the black streaks when moving forward. If you want good images and good depth/ 2D, lower the transducer so the bottom of the transducer is just below the bottom of the pontoon bracket. That is just common sense transducer installation.

Great. That’s an easy fix. Thanks
