    2009 201 Evolution Seat bases

The seats, both sit down and pedestal, are both very wobbly. They are not the screw base I’m used to. Is this normal and is there anyway to fix the problem. Thank you

Yes it can be fixed. There is a plastic bushing in each of the boat pedestal holes. You knock out old one I find with a chisel makes it easy. You can order from C & O Marine, Ranger parts. I originally got mine from 1st marine and did not fit. Spoke to Scott at Ranger Parts. Part is made by Springfield which makes two different bushings for Stratos. Also when ordering the bushing it should come with a wooden dowel rod, nail polish bottle red adhesive in bottle. Before installing new bushing make sure you place it over the removable pole and dry fit it in hole. See how it fits. I know this as I tried two different bushings before I got the correct one to work.
Remove old bushing, clean hole, apply adhesive, and tap in.

Make sure once you get correct bushing to work you save the part number.
