19-21 seems a bit tall for this. (Depends on the application)

I have a 2013 Mercury 4s with the 2.33 gear ratio. When my motor was stock I could not turn a 19 pitch prop to wot rpms let alone a 20 or 21 pitch.

I just did this (minus the jp) and I can only turn a 17P to 5720. Post up some #'s when you get it all done.

Now that sounds more like it. On my boat,2013 Crestliner with a 75 4s with a Simons tuned ecu, I can turn my 19 pitch prop to about 6100 at about 49 mph. I dont have a jackplate on my boat. My boat is very weight sensitive, if I am not carefull it will porpoise on me. With just me and not tackle, empty livewells and a half tank of gas, cool weather I have had it up to about 52mph with a bit of porpoise. Next mod is a 4" hydraulic jackplate.

I also have a LaserII in a 20 pitch and a Spitfire x7 in a 19 pitch and can not turn them to max rpms. Hoping the jackplate will alow me to get more rpms and let me run the x7. The x7 just seems to have better holding and handling habits especially in turns. Might not be the fastest in speed but I would be willing to give up a couple mph for a better holeshot and better overall performance.

Is your prop stock or has it been worked? Are you selling the the 20 pitch?

My 19pitch is a Michigan Wheel Apollo XHS. It has been repaired and a bit of cup added. Needs to be reworked again. Will most likely hold onto the 20 LazerII to see how it works with a jackplate. It was purchased used and looks a bit funky. Not bad just not stock I dont think. The 19x7 Spitfire is a used prop purchased from a member on here that swears it only was run a hour or two. It looks like brand new.
