    2014 pro xs 150 .

    My pro xs runs fine idling but when go get up on plane alarm goes off for about 5 seconds changed impeller cleaned thermostats and still does it got good water coming out to tell tale hole but motor seems to have a lot of steam co I got off it . Took it out again and idled about 5 minutes then tried getting up and lost power a alarm came on hooked it up on water hose and no alarm

    Sounds like the Poppet valve is stuck closed, needs cleaning out or replacing.

    Do you have a water pressure gauge and temp gauge? What are the idle temps/pressure and the what are they on plane? What alarm is good no off? Have dealer pull codes if you can.

    No sir have no gauges but will be investing in some ones this problem is fixed . It started out that when I idled a ways then tried getting on plane solid alarm go off kill it then restart and can get right up on plane no alarm then it went to start idle and when pushed throttle alarm go off for around 5 seconds then go off and get right up no problem but like mentioned early last time I idled went get up alarm went off and then lost power

    Shop said it’s the oil tank on motor sensor inside has broken off said it was a common problem .

    Probably the magnet/float, but yes that does happen occassionally.
