What are these and can I remod for seat posts

New to me 190 dcx elite. The seat post bases seem to be an inch thick square metal piece with a threaded hole to accept R&R slide &lock posts.

Am I limited to just using these seat poles or can I modify to accept regular screw in type posts?

Cant seem to upload a picture of it 🤬

Stuck unless you tear into the deck. This is who made them and supposedly you can special order them if you need one.

Seems like they were well over $100, I was going to call for my buddy; but he ended up selling his boat and buying a diff champ. Shipping to Canada might be high, I don’t know. Won’t hurt to give them a call and find out though. If you know of a good machine shop, they could prob make you something that would work.

I'm waiting to see if a fellow bbc member still has bushings he made for this. It basically reduces the side to fit 3/4" king pin style pedestals. No answer so far

No sir, you’re a little confused. If you have the square metal base and threaded post, then that bushing won’t work. Those are for the newer systems. You’re stuck with the square threaded block & threaded post, unless you change the base out.

I guess you could drill a hole through the deck for the 3/4 pin.

Rick, See if you can email them to me, I'll see if I can get them posted for you. It should be in my profile.
