Powerpole Micro, Is this a good product?

I'm considering adding this to my new G3 Sportsman 1610. Looks like it would be the ticket for a smaller size aluminum hull boat. Just wondering if its reliable.

It will work, only issue I have heard is if the water is to deep the anchor can go to far down and won't retract up (may only do this with lithium battery also is what I read)

I contemplated getting a Micro for my 1754 Grizzly. Went with the Sportsman 2 for just a little more money and glad I did. No having to monkeying around with the spike. I could see putting a Micro on a Kayak, but for a boat the Power Pole is the way to go.

I have an 1854 Prodigy and the micro works great! If the bottom is very hard and it’s real windy it won’t hold like a regular power pole but in most conditions it is perfect for a small boat.

A friend of mine had a Jon boat and had one. He loved it.

I’ll be getting one eventually for my 1548 G3. Cheaper than an Ultrex.
