    Water temp, techniques and lures

I am finding 58 degree water temps. You guys have any suggestions for what lures and techniques to throw at the bass for water temps from 50 to 58? Thanks for any suggestions.

Jig, square bills, big Colorado blades. Anything slower moving.

I’ve had good success slow moving a chatterbait. That bait works year round for me.

Been crackin tubes on Milford which has resulted in quite a few smallies in the boat. Water is a hair turbid, so black has worked well but so has the traditional punkinseed.

Sunday a squarebill, jerkbait, tube and swimjig all worked for me. Biggest fish came on the squarebill. Water was in the low 60's on Wilson County Lake near Buffalo.

Good to hear from you John. I mostly fish Sebelius over at Norton. Been fishing out of inboards and since kids are all gone now we finally bought Champion bass boat. I’d love to go fish Wilson some time. We definitely need to get together.

Don't rule out a rattle trap, especially with the high off colored water we have now.
