    Ultrex in grass

I'm been going back and forth on getting an ultrex this spring. I fish G'ville and Chickamauga mostly. Most of my fishing on Chickamauga is offshore, which is why I'm looking at the ultrex for spotlock. However, I love frog fishing and getting in the hydrilla, etc. this time of year on G'ville and Chickamauga. How does the ultrex handle operating in thick grass mats?

I had my ultrex on gville this weekend.

I literally blazed trails through the milfoil mats and fished where no one else was fishing.

    Grass was even easier!

Few things I recommend.. A blade on your motor to help cut grass and raise motor up so it is right at cavitation level. It's noisy as all get out but it never gets bogged down.

I have put 2 one each side of my Ultrex Ninja blades , but now and then u need to take a file or med sand paper to sharpen the cutting blades it works fine
