Decided to fish at Patoka today. Water temperature was 61-63 degrees in most areas and the river. Lake was stained. We caught fish with squarebills, spinnerbait, and football shakey head using Rage Craw. The fish were just barely under limit. All were caught on points or chunk rock banks/bottoms in shallow water. Curious who else fished today and if you had better results or found then in different depths.

Fished Patoka for the first time today. Started at 715a, launched out of Walls ramp. Worked up the river for 3 hours and managed 3 or 4 dinks. Loaded up and went to Painters creek and fished the mainlake. Really was just speed fishing, trying to cover as much ground as possible trying to learn the lake - worked a couple fingers and main lake points. Look forward to going back and learning more.
Dan, good to meet you too. We fished the area around Walls ramp, didn't get bit at all. Wind picked up and it was tough out there. Went to Painter creek for a few hours, got nothing there. Going to try again tomorrow out on the main lake.
