    Dual Power Pole Pictures

I have a 2019 ZX225 with one power pole. The hydraulic lines go in through a clamshell cover behind the big tube that feeds all wires from the motor to the bulge area. I want to add a second power pole but that clamshell won’t accomodate another set of wires. Does anyone have any pictures of how a dual power pole setup routes the wires to the pump?

    Thanks.

I think I will just install two more clamshells covers one for each power pole. I like symmetry. The taller ones I found are also longer and wider and would not fit correctly on the stern.

The current one is centered on the stern and I don't want just one more offset, so two it is. My skeeter dealer is a bit of a hike away otherwise I would take a look there.

Nothin like drilling some big 1" holes in a brand new boat.

The new Power Poles come w/ grommets. You do not have to use clamshells to cover the hole up. Refer to the installation instructions.

Dealer installed the first one, I am guessing the clamshell was there from the factory. My second PP is in shipping so I have not seen the instructions yet.

Thanks for that info though. Some more research to do now.

I appears the newer models do come with a grommet installed on the hydraulic line already. The fittings are also pressed on already. I don't see being able to buy the grommets without buying new lines.

Unless someone can correct my thinking.

Mine are less than 3 months old and are blades. Dealer might have cut grommets off so they will thread thru clamshell hole. The new hoses are som much better than the old rigid blue and black ones. You can’t go wrong either way.

4 hoses and a transducer cable fit through the factory hole but the cover will not go on anymore. That’s what I did.

don't drill a 1" hole and throw the clamshells away.
call or wait for the power pole to arrive.
The hydraulic lines are quite stiff and they move very little when using the poles so it can rub the lines enough to cause a failure going down the road (ask me how I know?).
Power pole has most excellent service and the poles/lines/fittings ship with 2 small hard plastic grommets where you only drill a 5/16" hole for the 1/4" line to feed through.
very clean look and what I did.
I would send a pic but sold my iclass a few weeks ago.
