My buddy Gary had back surgery back on 8/7. We thought 9 1/2 weeks is long enough for any man to have to go without fishin' regardless of what the doctor says, so we decided to head to Stockton. We got a late start, put in at CC, and didn't make our first cast until about quarter after 12. Gary caught several big drum and I caught a nice white in the first 5 minutes we were there. We wound up with a limit and a half of whites, 5 drum, 2 walleye, and a handful of small bass. We loaded up and headed to the house at about 5:20pm. The water temp was between 59* and 63* and it was pretty stained.....the air temp was perfect, probably the mid 60's. I thought we did ok for a short trip.
