    Boat friendly motel on Okeechobee

I know Roland's would work, but I would rather stay at the north end of the lake. Are there any motels where you can park the truck and boat without unhitching and still charge the batteries?

The best western right next to McDonalds is boat friendly and close to the lake. There is also a holiday inn further down the strip that I stayed hooked up to and could plug into as well. Be sure to check out Lunkers Sports Grill and Okeechobee Fishing headquarters.

Thanks for the replies. When I look at the aerial pictures of the places mentioned the only one that appears to have parking spaces for our rigs is the Hampton Inn. The others mentioned have parking spots that you could double up on, but I don't see how you would charge. Am I missing something?

When I look up that address it comes up as the Lakeview Inn and Suites. Is that correct?

Zelmo- Best Western has parking in the back where boats can line up. On google images you can see where the pavement meets the dirt. There are a bunch of plugs at the base of the street light. You would just need to bring an extension cord. That’s at least what I do on the north end.

Places mentioned all have plugs, I stayed and never did have to unhook at the holiday inn or best western.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on nearly every trip, it's a good location/property.
However, you are in Okeechobee City. Lock up everything, cover the boat at night, etc.

Pier II. Its Okeechobee. Nearly every hotel down there caters to bass boats...

Stay at the Lakeport Resort. Have places to plug in and it is less than two minutes from Harney Pond ramps. 863 946 2336.
