    Good Day on the Water

    Decided to go fishing today on Lake Ouachita and leave muzzleloading to all the other guys. Glad I did. I caught 50+ crappie, a few bass, and had something grab my jig that I could never even think about turning around. It stripped drag for a few seconds at a quick pace then broke me off. I threw a bunch of little crappie back but here are the ones I kept. It was another beautiful day on the lake! Caught most them on 2" Kalin grubs but a few came on Bobby Garland Baby Shads fished vertical. Fish were positioned in about 20' of water near some brush off a creek channel.
