    optimax heating up

    I have a 2005 225hp optimax. Serial #1B310106. It heats up after a long idle zone or just putting around. I got it new and its always done this. I want to remove thermostats and flush it and replace thermostats. Is this my problem? Also I don't have a temp gouge but want one. Could someone please give me the right numbers for a thermostat kit and the right temp gauge? I've been looking but want to make sure I get the right stuff the first time. Thanks
