    MinnKota Maxxum 101 prop issues

I have a older Minnkota 101 36volt Maxxum trolling motor. My old prop was kinda dinged up, so I ordered a new one from TW. Went to put in on today and found the new one MKP-33 prop is the right diameter, but the prop doesn't have a flat in the hole where the shaft goes through. The shaft on the trolling motor also has a flat machined on it. Am I SOL ? Going to call MinnKota on Mon, but I'm thinking that that they don't make a prop with a flat. Any input would be greatly appreciated for sure!

You need to order by serial number. Go to https://www.minnkotamotors.com/sites...tion-guide.pdf with the S/N.

Thank you CatFan! I was hoping to be able to use the Weedless Edge II prop, but it looks at least I can still get a prop for my trolling motor.

The older 101s had the D shaped hub. The WW2 has the shear pin. Both are 4" props. We carry both in stock.

Thank you Mr Jones for your reply! Problem is my shaft is not drilled for a shear pin. Are you saying that you have the WW2 in the D shaped hub or do you have the original Weedless Prop that I currently have? I believe the number is MKP-24. Is that correct?

The only prop made for your motor is the original weedless wedge. We stock those. If you want to use the WW2, you will have to change the armature and the front end bell.

Thank you John! That's what I thought. I guess I will stick with the old prop for now. Planning on a new trolling motor soon.
