Take pics of the pad area under the engine. That will give you the best info from these guys.

Based on the bow .......... you've definitely have a Hyperlift hull.

As for what model ....... I ain't got a clue.

More likely than not ...... it's a "H51s" ..... just an older model H-51 with a slightly different layout or different features, IDK.

    Re: (chucktx)

You can tell just by the way the bow is formed that it's a Hyperlift series hull. Also, looking hard at one of your pictures, you can already see the step in the hull that makes the pad.

With your boat being the age that it is, it would be a regular Hyperlift and not the newer Hyperlift Xtreme .... and definitely not a Hydrodynamic hull.

    Re: (jr225ho)

What's the MAX HP on the USCG plate??

    If it's 90 it's a H-51 (17 ft)

    If it's 75 then it's a H-50 (16 ft)...

I never drink water because of the disgusting things that fish do in it.

If you want speed and a awesome ride that can cut waves like a glass boat ..... YES.

If you want the best shallow water draft you can get in an aluminum boat ..... NO.

Truthfully, what I've found ...... hyperlift really doesn't draft much more than Xpress' hydrodynamic (aka mod-v hulls for all other brands). Mine takes about 10"-12" where as a similar boat in mod-v would only take 6"-8".

As far as the ride and speed ............ and as far as aluminum hulls ........... NOTHING COMPARES to a Hyperlift hull .................. well except for a few (Triton Magnum, a few LakeSport models, and some custom boat builders like SC's Hancock boats) which are all pad hull boats.

From several people I've talked to the Triton Magnum is a direct copy of the Hyperlift Hull, At least this was the case with the earlier models.
