    Champ 190SX boat plug

    Where can I buy a new boat plug for my 2001 Champion 190SX? The rubber end is starting to tear.

    or did they switch over to the threaded style in those years? If it’s threaded you’ll have to replace the entire housing, the new plugs have a different course of threads and the plug won’t fit your existing housing.

    Yes, it is the threaded plug and I will need to replace the housing.

    Many marine shops carry them, I searched for awhile trying to find the old style so that I wouldn’t have to put in the new housing. Never could find the older one, it wasn’t hard putting in the new one, just make sure you buy some sealant to put around it.
