I have had Chubb stashed on the bench in one of my fantasy teams as a prospect since the draft. Maybe that reach and intuition is getting ready to bear fruit after all!

Same here, I love that they got rid of Hyde.

His best yards are behind him. Unfortunately the line of scrimmage is ahead of him.

Smart move for Cleveland. They have Chubbs and Johnson. They are loaded with draft picks for the upcoming years

Yeah not so sure about that. Chubby is not a short yardage type of back, and remember he was a distant 2nd stringer to Sony Michel at Georgia. One other thing is while at Georgia his Sophomore year he had major knee surgery ACL & MCL.

Lol I’ve literally seen every single snap of Sony and nicks college career. He was nowhere near a distant second string. He’s second in all time yards at Uga to Herschel Walker. Look what he’s been able to do with the limited amount of carries he’s been able to get. I think the browns were trying to showcase Hyde so they could move him because they know what they have in chubb.

I would agree with you up until his injury. IMO he won’t make a good 3 down back, nor a goal line thumper, that’s just not his game. And if the Browns use him as a 3 down, goal line guy, he’ll be on IR soon.

I’m not a huge college football fan(beside UNH) but I watched a bunch last year after hip surgery and Chubb is the real deal and I was hopeful the Patriots would draft him.

Too bad they can't pick em. I think they hit on Ward though.

Pat’s got the better back IMO. When Bill selects a back in the 1st round there’s a reason. You Pat’s fans would know better then me but when’s the last time they picked a back in the 1st round?

Bill usually never picks a first rounder .. trades for multiple later rounds .. when he does pick in the first it usually doesn’t go well
