The newer driver hits the ball farther... 17 yards, looks like mostly due to ball flight patterns, newer club has lower launch angles, less ball spin, and higher ball exit velocity.

Surprisingly there wasn't a huge difference in performance. Newer club did hit further but not that much. Lots of cool videos on YouTube.

I have watched many of Rick Shiels videos..he is brand agnostic and a dang good instructor. He is also a really good swinger of the golf club. I believe the major advancement in equipment is the forgiveness, as he stated in the video. Take that 1998 driver and let a 15 handicap swing it versus a modern driver and the dispersion difference would be huge. I was more surprised by the ball comparison than the club comparison.

Any other fun YouTube videos about golf? What other channels are fun to watch?

I wonder if the Professional 100 would give more similar results to the Pro-V1. The 90 isn't much compression at all and likely isn't what he needs for his swing speed.
